Cookie Notice

Effective date: October 3, 2026

1. About this notice

This Cookie Notice explains how Oppulence Inc. ("Eigenn", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on eigenn.io and any other site or application we own or control that links to this notice (collectively, the "Sites").

This notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal information more generally, and our Sub-processors page, which lists the third parties that process data on our behalf.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They serve different purposes, such as helping us understand how a site is used, letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and keeping your session secure.

Our Sites use both session cookies, which expire once you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.

We use first-party cookies, which we serve directly to recognize your device when it returns to our Sites, and a limited number of third-party cookies served by service providers that help us operate and measure the Sites.

3. Categories of cookies we use

We group the cookies and similar technologies on our Sites into the categories below. We do not serve advertising cookies and we do not use cookies for interest-based advertising.

3.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the technical operation of the Sites and cannot be switched off in our systems. They enable core functionality such as signing in, maintaining your session, routing requests, load balancing, and protecting against cross-site request forgery and other abuse. If you block them, parts of the Service will not work.

  • Authentication and session cookies set by Eigenn and our authentication provider, WorkOS.
  • Security cookies used for request verification, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
  • The cookie that records your consent choices, retained for up to 12 months unless you clear it sooner.

3.2 Functional

These cookies let the Sites remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personal features. They are not required for the Service to operate, but disabling them means some preferences will reset on each visit.

  • Preference cookies that store your theme, language, locale, and layout selections.
  • State cookies that remember the last workspace, team, or view you used.

3.3 Analytics and performance

These cookies help us understand how the Sites perform and how they are used, so we can measure feature adoption, diagnose errors, and improve reliability. The information is used in aggregate and is not used to serve advertising.

  • Browser product analytics, provided by OpenPanel, records page views and feature usage and can associate activity with a signed-in user and workspace. The browser analytics provider loads only after analytics consent.
  • Error and performance monitoring, provided by Sentry, records diagnostics and may include signed-in user identifiers. This monitoring is configured separately from browser analytics and is not switched off by rejecting analytics cookies.

3.4 Advertising and social

We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. The marketing consent category controls optional third-party features, including Plain support chat and embedded YouTube and Cloudflare Stream learning videos. Loading these features shares technical information and interactions with the relevant provider.

These features load only after marketing consent. Written lessons remain available without it, and you can open a video directly on the provider website, where that provider's privacy and cookie practices apply.

4. Other technologies

In addition to cookies, we use a small number of related technologies for the same purposes described above.

  • Browser web storage: we use localStorage and sessionStorage (also known as locally stored objects) for preferences and application state. Learning progress, notes, saved items, and catalog preferences are kept in this browser under your signed-in user identity and workspace, and are retained after sign-out. Eigenn also stores them with your account, so clearing site storage removes only this browser's copy.
  • Web beacons and pixel tags: we may embed small transparent images in HTML emails to record whether a message was opened or a link was clicked, so we can measure the effectiveness of product and support communications.
  • Cookie settings control the optional analytics and marketing integrations described above. They do not erase existing browser storage or disable server-side operational logs, billing records, error monitoring, or the configured UserJot feedback and product-update integration. UserJot can receive signed-in account details and feedback submissions.

5. Your choices

You have several options for controlling what cookies and similar technologies collect about you.

  • Cookie preferences: where required by law, we present a cookie banner on your first visit that lets you accept all, reject all, or manage non-essential categories. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. You can reopen these settings at any time from the cookie link in the site footer. After withdrawing consent, reload the page to apply the choice to integrations that have already loaded. Clear site storage through your browser to remove previously stored records; changing a preference does not delete data already sent to a provider.
  • Browser controls: most browsers let you remove or reject cookies through their settings, and many let you see exactly which cookies have been set. If you disable cookies entirely, the Sites may not work properly and you may need to sign in on every visit.
  • Blocking images: most browsers and mail clients can be configured to prevent images from loading, which stops web beacons in emails from registering.
  • Global Privacy Control: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The cookie settings do not automatically change in response to a GPC signal; use Cookie settings to choose the optional categories.
  • Do Not Track: because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, we do not currently change our practices in response to them.

6. Changes to this notice

The cookies we use may change from time to time as we add or remove features and providers. We will update this notice when that happens and revise the date shown above. Please check back periodically for the current information.
